Though the specifics of his past life as an unfeeling machine have faded from his memory, Hadrian has vowed to carve a path of redemption, seeking to atone for forgotten atrocities. Bound to this path of penitence, he carries a personal “tome of sins” attached to his chassis—a constant, solemn memento of his former life as a conqueror.
