Ilythea, Treeborn Elder – The Verdant Speaker

Ilythea, Treeborn Elder – The Verdant Speaker

Female Fey (Druid, Sorcerer)

Gripping a towering vine-choked staff bound around an untreated focusing crystal, Ilythea surveys the sacred glade with calm, elemental vigilance. Living blossoms, creeping ivy tendrils, and leafy fronds intertwine directly into her woven bark cuirass, framing pointed elven ears and an elaborate floral antler crown. Keepers constructing high-tier wildwood audiences, sacred heartwood groves, or ancient perimeter boundary trials will find this Artifact brings exquisite organic silhouette and commanding natural presence to the grid.

Tabletop Lore

Nurtured within the deep root-vaults of primeval elder trees, the Treeborn act as living conduits between the soil’s dormant memory and the surface forest. Ilythea does not merely practice magic; her physical form slowly takes on the bark, buds, and seasons of the grove she defends. When unnatural blights or axe-bearing incursions threaten the heartwood, she calls upon the buried roots beneath intruders’ feet, turning the peaceful woodland into an impenetrable snare of crushing wood and choking vines.

Highlight

An intricate nature-caster sculpt featuring an elaborate botanical antler headdress, leafy living-bark armor, bare feet stepping across stone roots, and a large vine-wrapped crystal stave.

Encounter Insight

Deploy Ilythea as an ancient grove guardian, an aloof archdruid quest giver, or a powerful wildwood ally negotiating boundary rites with the party. In tactical combat, Keepers can take advantage of her commanding upright posture to anchor backline spell zones, using her presence to dictate battlefield movement while summoning entangling roots and nature spells from behind frontline protectors.
