Death long sought Leopold after the destruction of a sacred relic. Having gruesomely perished during the bitter fighting in a fallen province, he awoke five days later, finding himself miraculously alive. Driven by a higher divine will, he was led to recover the scattered remnants of the shattered chalice. Yet half a dozen times more he was slain in his desperate quest, awakening again and again to continue his holy burden. Finally, when the relic was remade with the shards gathered across the realms, Leopold found his final rest, earning an ascended place among the immortal guardians of the celestial afterlife.
