Draped in heavy layered robes, a wide-brimmed pointed hat, and a long flowing beard, his outstretched hand channels potent sorcery. Keepers can deploy this Artifact as a legendary party patron, a terrifying court archmage, or an omniscient planar prophet manipulating events from behind the throne.

The right hand of Mallory and a wizard whose very being can shape the face of Grimmvale. He is the sole survivor of the previous King’s Court, and although was skeptical of Mallory when she first took reign, he now loyally submits himself to her. Merlin is the soothsayer and prophet of Mallory, and is able to predict all dangers posed to her, and advise what threats are worth her attention, and which ones he may easily dispose of himself.
