Sylvia of the Fringe – Faun Enchantress
Female Fey, Tiefling (Bard)
Leaping lightly across a tangle of roots and wild woodland mushrooms, Sylvia raises a rustic wooden pipe to her lips in mid-melody. Her cloven hooves, curved horns, and textured fur mantles evoke untamed glades and mystical tree canopies. Whether introduced as a playful forest guide, a territorial fey trickster, or a traveling wanderer, this Artifact brings an airy yet guarded spirit directly to the table.
Tabletop Lore
Having known no other home than the deep reaches of the Tryamin Woods, Sylvia matured in the aftermath of devastation wrought by the fall of Elen Estel. Raised alongside the steadfast druids who worked tirelessly to mend the damaged forest, she came to view the caretakers and ancient timber as her true kin. Fiercely devoted to shielding her territory from exploitation, she avoids spilling blood directly, choosing instead to weave beguiling melodies that bewitch intruders and turn unwanted footsteps far off course.
Highlight
A dynamic, mid-step dancing pose defined by textured caprine legs, forward-curving horns, a rustic flute, and an overgrown forest-floor scenic base.
Encounter Insight
Deploy Sylvia as an elusive guardian who uses charm melodies and auditory illusions to lead the adventuring party astray in dense woodlands. Her buoyant stance also makes her an engaging social contact, non-hostile border sentinel, or bardic ally who bargains local passage and ancient woodcraft secrets in exchange for aid against encroaching lumber camps.
