A beast that was until recently held in close captivity within a secret laboratory complex located deep in the wilderness outside of Grimhelm, the creature known as the Absolver stands as one of the earliest experimental triumphs of Project Glass Ceiling. Scheduled for total destruction many moons ago due to its highly volatile nature, the beast was instead unintentionally freed from its secure holding cell during a chaotic insurrectionist raid on the containment facility. It has since migrated into the outlying regional marshlands and forests, preying ruthlessly on unfortunate travelers under the cover of absolute night.
