The Jabberwock – Monster of the Tulgey Wood
Monstrosity (Monster)
Rearing high with sweeping leathery wings, long jagged talons, and a predatory mandibled maw, this terrifying apex beast commands immediate dread across the grid. Its heavy scaled hide, mane of coarse fur, and sweeping tail create an unmistakable silhouette that looms over surrounding miniatures. Keepers can deploy this Artifact as an unrelenting wilderness stalker, an ancient forest guardian, or a climactic boss encounter in twisted, primal domains.
Tabletop Lore
A manxome creature of the Tulgey Wood, known for its slithy hide and whiffling gait, the Jabberwock is a conjuration of Mallory—an uffish and gobblesome beast whose hunger has never once been sated. Those who wander beneath the wood’s snatchety boughs find themselves easy meals should they be nicked by the forest’s vorpal thorns, for the Jabberwock galumphs and gyres to the scent of blood, burbling as it comes. The last sight its victims see are the claws and jaws of the famgering beast, who will frabjously dine on their flesh thereafter.
Highlight
This Artifact distinguishes itself through its unsettling hybrid anatomy, combining expansive dragon-like wings with a furred, mandibled stalker sculpt that dominates the tactical grid.
