Once an ordinary cavern bat, this creature underwent a terrifying metamorphosis upon exposure to the parasitic Eldraeth, swelling to gargantuan proportions over a matter of weeks. Now towering several men tall, it exists as a completely feral monstrosity driven by raw hunger and a jaw capable of severing a warrior’s limbs cleanly in a single strike. It has since become the personal charge of the sorceress Zarinda, who uses her dark, extraplanar influence to suppress the beast’s perpetual fury and guide its destructive flights directly toward her rivals.
