Death has relentlessly pursued Leopold since the shattering of Namneri’s Chalice. After being torn apart by a plague beast during the chaotic aftermath of Hendrak’s ascension, he awoke five days later, miraculously and cursedly whole. Driven by his patron’s unyielding will, he is forced to hunt down the remnants of the fractured artifact. Slain half a dozen times more upon this quest, he continues to rise from the dirt, knowing that success may finally grant him the true death he now desperately welcomes to ward off the pain of endless resurrection.
